MuscleTech Platinum 100% Creatine Review
Before going into a deep dive review of the MuscleTech Platinum 100% Creatine, click this link to understand everything about creatine.
To be frank, you do not need any muscle building supplements to build muscles.
Supplements are just that, they are supposed to supplement, not replace.
Not replacing calories, good calories, proper training and proper rest.
If you want improved strength, enhanced muscle size and quicker recovery, you can’t go wrong with the MuscleTech Platinum 100% Creatine.
Glad that a friend recommended this to me. I believe MuscleTech is on to a winnner here.
I give the MuscleTech Platinum 100% Creatine a rating of
- Value: 11/10
- Taste: 8/10
- Mixability: 10/10
- Overall: 9.5/10
1. Value: 11/10
The MuscleTech Platinum 100% Creatine is a no frills, fuss free, no BS product at a super cheap price. It contains only one ingredient, and that is micronized creatine monohydrate.
As explained in the article on creatine, micronized creatine monohydrate is the most value for money, easy to consume and easily absorbed by the body form of creatine. Further, most scientific studies that have shown creatine to work use creatine monohydrate as their test samples – i.e. creatine monohydrate has been studied exhaustively.
In fact, the manufacture claims that in one clinical study, subjects using the dose of creatine found in one max serving of Platinum 100% Creatine gained an amazing 6 lbs. of muscle in just 6 weeks1. In a separate study, test subjects increased their bench press strength by an impressive 18.6% in just 10 days2!

True to form, this is one of the best, no frills creatine I have tried. Two weeks in and I really felt the effects as I tested being off creatine for a while.
I recovered much faster (recovered the day of workout/or one day after at most) and made more strength gains as well. Every lift was a 10-25% increase and it just felt easier to progressively overload. Had loads in the tank. I easily put on 15 pounds too, pretty useful for ectomorphs like us (note: it is not 15 pounds of pure muscles, that’s impossible. It’s more of water retention). Didn’t feel any bloating as well.
The MuscleTech Platinum 100% Creatine costs $10.78 for 80 servings (400g package). This works out to $0.13 per serving, which is almost half the price of its competitors! E.g. Optimum’s cost around $0.23 per serving, and GNC’s cost around $0.20 per serving. This is why this product deserves such a high score!
2. Taste: 8/10
A “drawback” of the no frills nature of this product, is that it’s tasteless. Well, at least it doesn’t taste bad. Further, this also means that there are no artificial or natural flavours or sweeteners, which makes it a healthier product.
3. Mixability: 10/10
The term “micronized”, means that the product disperses extremely fast when mixed in liquid. i.e. this product mixes extremely well.
4. Overall: 9.5/10
It is actually really easy to sum up.
This is one of if not the most value for money, effective and fuss free bodybuilding supplement I have seen and it has become one of my supplement staples.
In fact I see it as a cheat code for ectomorphs/skinny guys like us who have trouble gaining size and get stuck at weight training plateaus easily.
