Vince Delmonte No Nonsense Muscle Building Review

*I used to recommend this product, but now I would recommend Jeff Masterson’s Weight Gain Blueprint instead.

Is the No Nonsense Muscle Building Program by Vince Delmonte a scam?

No, it isn’t.

Vince Delmonte’s No Nonsense Muscle Building Program is the first workout program I’ve ever used and is the reason for my ectomorph transformation. Here, I would like to provide a comprehensive review. *It is a bit lengthy though.

In the past, I wasted 2 years of my life working out WITHOUT MUCH RESULTS and I just couldn’t understand why. Some things happened (can read my bio) and that was when I decided to get serious once and for all – by purchasing Vince Delmonte’s No Nonsense Muscle Building Program.

Then, I could only bench a weightless bar. Now, I can bench 265lbs and do 30 pull ups! :) Vince is also an ectomorph, but it took him countless years, effort and frustration to finally crack the code for this No Nonsense Muscle Building Program. Lucky for me.

This is the content page of No Nonsense Muscle Building Program (201 pages):

  • Top mistakes to avoid before you even start training
  • Top bodybuilding myths
  • How to build muscles
  • Recovery methods – how to accelerate recovery
  • Maximizing hormonal response for maximum muscle growth and maximal fat loss
  • Explosive fat burning secrets (to get ripped and lean)
  • Massive eating and nutrition
  • Making sense of supplementation – choosing them wisely
  • 29 weeks No-nonsense maximum muscle growth program

Muscle Growth

I would say one of the best parts of this program is that Vince really wants you to understand the principles of muscle building and he goes about explaining rather clearly.

First, he addresses the most common misconceptions and myths a lot of amateur gym goers have. Trust me, these misconceptions will cost you a lot of wasted effort over the the years if you do not correct them now.

He has kindly created a pdf report on it and you can peruse it just by clicking on the pdf button below:

Next, he explains how muscle growth really works by listing down the principles of building muscles and explaining how these principles work and the relation between each.

In simple terms, his formula for muscle growth is this: maximum tension + maximum load + less time = insane muscle gain! He also stresses rest and recovery a lot too, to the point of saying 1% training + 99% = 100% results.

Based upon his muscle growth principles, the No Nonsense Muscle Building Program takes you by the hand, and shows you step by step the easiest and most insightful methods to bulk up and blast your muscle gains.

Vince also explains how our central nervous system and body reacts and how to maximise hormonal responses for maximum muscle gains in the no nonsense muscle building program. These hormones include insulin, glucagon, IGF-1, cortisol, testosterone, growth hormone, catecholamines and thyroid hormones.

Gain Weight

Moving on, my biggest gripe as a hardgainer is gaining weight. I had to eat to maintain my weight and was perpetually worried that I would lose my muscles everytime my weight dropped.

In the No Nonsense Muscle Building Program, the good thing is that Vince takes the time to explains how to gain muscle weight healthily and effectively. The whats, whens, hows are all addressed. He doesn’t skip through this part just by spamming some generic knowledge.

Vince also dedicated a section to supplements and explained why commerical weightgainers are crap. Vince’s recommended supplements are: antioxidants, EFA’s, greens and fibres. However creatine and protein powder can be used for the bulking up phase.

Supplements to avoid: meal replacement powders, myostatin inhibitors, nitric oxide boosters, carbohydrate energy drinks, creatine sugar mixes, testosterone boosters and glutamine.

Anyway, if you need more help, you can visit his private forum (Can only do so if you buy the book, though I believe the 24/7 Fitness Coach Q&A collection he provides should really be good enough to help you answer a lot of questions). It is basically a super long list of FAQs.

And I’m sure you will even find a lot of questions you would not have even thought about! One such question led me to create this blog post: Should ectomorphs bulk up considering that new fat cells are pemanent?

Muscle building is not as simple as hitting the gym, eating a lot and then resting well. There are many overlaps in these areas and to really maximise your muscle growth, you must be prepared to commit and to digest all the information in this program fully.

One of the biggest reason why most people (and this includes many of my friends I tried to help) don’t make the gains they want is due to a serious lack of discipline and motivation. Don’t be one of them.

This is the gist of the program, so if you are interested,

I wish you the best of luck, and hope you can replicate my success. Honestly, if you have been thinking about hiring a personal trainer, DON’T!

The amount you spend is totally not worth it, when the fact is MANY PEOPLE have been able to DIY and if you really need help, get the No Nonsense Muscle Building Program and you will be on your way to success. If you need help, you can contact me too.

Review of the No Nonsense Muscle Building Program

  1. Thomas Hall

Hey Wayne I play club soccer too and as a hardgainer, it’s damn hard to grow some muscle mass.. Does this program definitely work? can upload a content page or sth?

    • Wayne

Hey bro yea it does help in soccer if you do train your abs/core strength = better balance and not so easily pushed off the ball! Hope it goes well for you! Contact me if you need any help! and I have inserted the content page into my post!

  2. Khan

Hey Wayne, this is one question i have been wondering for ages and its frustrating me, i have an ectomorph’s structure but i also have a few pounds of excess fat on me,do i have to lose that fat first before i put on muscle (because i want my six pack to show and want to be really toned not just big)…reason i ask this is because of the fact obviously to lose weight you need to eat less calories than you use up and for gaining muscle its more calories than you you use up…so what do i do to lose the fat and gain muscle mass :S any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

    • Wayne

      hey khan!

It depends on your body fat percentage, but I think urs shld belong to the skinny fat type. In that case, I would advise you to focus on gaining muscles first instead of trying to lose fats because it’s counterproductive.

However, if your main aim is to sculpt your abs, then aim to lose fat first.

Any more questions, do let me know!
